About the Community

Mississauga City Centre is well connected to other areas of Mississauga and the rest of the GTA. Adjacent to Highway 403, downtown Toronto and the Pearson International Airport are easy to get to. Mississauga Transit provides public bus service both locally and throughout the city, with a major bus terminal located at Square One. Go Transit provides commuter service along the Milton train line at nearby Cooksville Go Station. The City Centre Go Terminal also has busses that provide access to downtown Toronto, Hamilton, Waterloo, York University, and more.

Mississauga City Centre is home to a number of varied amenities. Square One Shopping Centre, Ontario’s largest shopping mall, contains over 360 stores and services for both residents and visitors. The excellent shopping and dining in the area, along with its easy access to other areas of the GTA make Mississauga City Centre a highly desirable area for both residents and businesses alike. For elementary and middle school education, the area is served by Briarwood Public School, The Valleys Sr. Public School, Fairview Public School, Munden Park Public School, Camilla Rd. Sr. Public School, and Queenston Dr. Public School. T.L. Kennedy Secondary School is the area’s public high school. Corsair Public School, Tomken Rd.
