About the Community

Both the 427 and nearby 407 connect Malton with the rest of the GTA, and the neighbourhood is close to Toronto Pearson International Airport. The area is well connected with Mississauga Transit, the Westwood Mall bus terminal connecting Malton with a number of bus routes for both Mississauga Transit and Brampton Transit. Go Transit provides commuter service toward Toronto along the Kitchener train line.

The Malton Community Centre offers a number of recreational and fitness activities, including a swimming pool, fitness centre, sports leagues, and library. Both Parkshore Golf Course and Wild Water Kingdom are a short distance away, and Malton is also home to a number of parks and green space, such as Elmcreek Park and Mimico Creek.

Among them are Corliss Public School, Marvin Heights Public School, Brandon gate Public School, and Ridgewood Public School. Lincoln M. Alexander Secondary School is Malton’s public high school. From the Dufferin-Peel Catholic School Board, Malton is served by Holy Cross Separate School, St. Raphael Elementary School, and St. Joseph Secondary School.
